BioRePeel - TCA 35%

What is BioRePeel?

BioRePeel is an innovative peel treatment, using patented 2-phase technology. This provides a bio-stimulating, revitalising and peel-like effect. The combination of these components results in a mild exfoliation, stimulating the biosynthetic process, and restoring the structure of the skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this treatment for?

BioRePeel is an innovative, biphasic, and topical 35% TCA peel designed for the face, neck, and décolleté, offering biorevitalizing and exfoliating effects with minimal downtime. It targets acne, pigmentation, fine lines, and sun damage by stimulating collagen and cell turnover, making it suitable for all skin types and ages.

What areas can be treated with BioRePeel?

The BioRePeel can be used on the face and décolletage (neck and upper chest) to improve skin texture, tone, and overall radiance.

Do I need a consultation?

Whilst it is not a legal requirement for this treatment to undergo a consultation, it is best practice to complete one prior to treatment.

A consultation is an important first step to ensure the treatment is appropriate for your specific needs and skin type. During the consultation, I will assess your skin condition and medical history to determine if you are a suitable candidate for the BioRePeel. I will also discuss your goals and expectations, explain the procedure in detail, and address any concerns you may have.

Consultations for these treatments can take place either virtually or face-to-face in the comfort of your own home.

Can the treatment be the same day as consultation?

Whilst this is possible with pre-planning, it is not generally advisable.

What should I expect during the treatment?

As the treatment is completed in the comfort of your own home there will be some initial setup required by Nurse Lee. This will include setting up a seating area, ensuring the treatment area is clean and preparing of the treatment. You will also complete a consent to treatment document and photographs will be taken.

Once this is completed and you are comfortable, a medical cleanse of your skin will be completed to reduce the risk of infection. A pre-treatment reassessment will be carried out of the areas to target and a recap of the planned treatment with yourself. It is important that you have removed all make-up from your face prior to my attendance.

I will firstly apply a prep solution to your skin and left to dry. The peel is then applied with a microdroplet technique, which may cause a mild tingling sensation. Once applied it will be massaged into the skin for a short period of time. I will tap the skin at intervals with my fingers before removing the peel with water. The peel does not require neutralising like other peels on the market.

Once treatment is complete, you will be reminded of the aftercare advice.

After the procedure, it's common to experience some redness, tightness, and sensitivity in the treated area. The skin might feel like it has been burned. You may also feel some tenderness and tightness, which may last for a few days.

You must also ensure that you wear an SPF sun screen daily after the procedure. Ideally, it should be SPF 50. You can purchase this in advance from my online store.

I cover the following areas Halesowen, Dudley, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Worcester & Kidderminster.

When will I expect to see results?

You can expect to see smoother, tighter skin immediately after an BioRePeel treatment. Over the following 7-10 days, improvements in scars, wrinkles, sun damage, pores, skin texture, and tone will continue to develop.

Factors to Consider

  • Individual Results: Individual results may vary, and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed, as they are influenced by factors unique to each person.
  • Number of Treatments: While some clients use the peel as a one-off treatment, a course of 3 to 6 treatments is recommended to see dramatic results or to treat actual skin conditions.
  • Deeper Peels: The deeper the peel, the greater the action it will have. As new skin grows, it will have a thicker epidermis and new collagen in the dermis, resulting in softer, fresher skin.
